"I'm Probably the biggest bore you've ever had on your show." -George Harrison, The Dick Cavett Show, 1971
It has been exactly 16 years since we lost George Harrison, one of the greatest people I have ever learned about to be 100% honest. What has truly bothered me since I have studied George has been the lack of knowledge and appreciation many people have for this man! Everyone knows John Lennon and his witty humor, Paul McCartney and his cheeky cuteness, and Ringo and his "Beatle-esque" peace loving vibe. While I love each member of the Beatles for their individual personalities, why does everyone I know fail to recognize GEORGE HARRISON(the most amazing human being to ever have existed on this planet!)?
Due to this confusion, I have decided to piece together some reasons why everyone should take a little time to admire George- ladies and gentlemen, George Harrison...
1. "The Quiet Beatle"- "There's nothing to talk about these days"- George Harrison
This was just a common misconception as George was just a very deep thinker and who could expect him to say something when he had literally nothing to say?!?

2. Greatest Lennon/McCartney Song Ever Written- SOMETHING?
George Harrison wrote the song, Something, in dedication to his then girlfriend, Pattie Boyd. His words were always thought out and had a flow that echoed his guitar style. It was said that Frank Sinatra thought "Something" was the greatest Lennon-McCartney song every written...ok, thanks for the credit frank.
3. He wrote a song about Chocolate
Savoy Truffle- Check it out below and fuel your sweet tooth:
4. Passionate about his craft- George was always strongly dedicated to everything he did, all the way since the beginning. Even before the Beatles, he had shown a strong interest in guitars and spent a lot of time doodling them in his school books. If that is not a sign of true dedication, then I don't know what is?

5. He really did care about people- Many people would think from many of George's early Beatles lyrics such as "Don't Bother Me" and acting roles in Beatles films that he was a very careless and short tempered person. He was in fact quite the opposite. George really cared about many causes, including Bangladesh, meditation, and the Indian culture.

6. And the Outdoors- George loved trees...
7. And ukuleles- Paul McCartney said that George always has tons of Ukuleles in his car and would just give them away to friends.
8. His style is impeccable- Mixing and matching patterns and colors was truly his specialty.

9. Brows on Fleek
10. That smile.

11. And come on... he was in the Beatles
12. Simply put, he is George Harrison. And how do you not love him :)

BY THE WAY... check out this awkward George interview- 100% entertaining, 100% George, 100% my favorite Dick Cavett interview. 35 minutes and not one second of wasted time.
