Hey guys! So, it's been a while but guess what. I still have plenty more coming for you this 2018. Many new things coming your way so stay connected and follow me on Pinterest and Insta.
In the meantime, I decided to start a little series titled "For the love of" which features some statement pieces in rock and roll that we should totally be rocking. To begin, I decided we should discuss a little something that has never gone out of style, something you can wear with everything, something that gets people talking. No I'm not talking about fanny packs, because yes, these are making a comeback this 2018 but these will more than likely not be in my closet this Spring, sorry Marc Jacobs. Don't get me wrong, they're cool and practical and I could totally see Mick Jagger rocking one in the 80s, I just don't believe they'll fit in with my personal style.
In all seriousness however, let us discuss
*cue drumroll*
The Band tee.
everyone rocks the band tee. With jeans, with a skirt, with a statement jacket, some spiffy new boots, with literally anything.

And lets be honest, its so simple but displays such a powerful statement that I believe can change the world. It says, "YES, I love this band so much that I will proudly wear their name across my chest and represent them every moment of today." If you have your headphones on you're basically saying, "Hey! Ask me what I'm listening to. Its probably the band I'm wearing RIGHT NOW! You should totally listen to them because they will make you as happy as I am." You radiate cool, as you cross the street wearing that rebellious and iconic red tongue or you look so groovy rocking a floral Hendrix and the Experience shirt. It says so much with so little.
And you know what is even better about a Band Tee???? When you actually see the band in concert and any time you wear this shirt you just associate it with that feeling. You know. THAT FEELING, that I just can't explain. I really don't know if its an overwhelming proud moment, or it could just be the strongest sense of Post Concert Depression? But still. THAT FEELING.
And okay, I'm going to go there. Lets talk "posers" alright. I'm would go on a rant here have so much to say but honestly this Saphire quote is all need...

because we all know that it does truly hurt.
But you know what posers lack?
All those FEELS I described above. Because yes, they wear the tee thinking it looks "cool" but you know what they don't have. THAT FEELING.
So next time you wear your Band tee, wear it proudly, wear it boastfully and most of all you just do you and be the big RAY OF SUNSHINE that you are because you have the greatest music taste, even if it isn't my personal taste, and I applaud you. You are personally making the world that much better.
